Tailor Tales Beta 1.2 is out! – Sarah, Dimitri and Alex's voices have been added – Neil's chapters 19 & 20 added – Dimitri's chapter 3 added – 1.

Tailor Tales Plus is additional content for the base game. This includes a longer epilogue with sexual content (not different, it just continues), or scenes in between chapters that are longer and have sexual content again. These are marked with the tag “Plus” in the chapter selection. It also includes the final, 10th CG of the game.Then there’s the side stories available for Neil and Dimitri at the moment. Currently you can access the dating system as well, where you can go out on dates with the guy and play a minigame where you can touch him.

Only Neil is available to date as of now, as it’s still a work in progress.So to sum it up, Plus gets you:- No requirements to read chapters- A longer epilogue filled with sexual content- Unlock any available side stories- Unlock the ability to go out on dates with a guy (currently only Neil)Tailor Tales Plus is only available through Patreon at the moment, no ETA yet when it’ll become available for Steam. At least through Patreon you’ll unlock Plus for ALL characters, instead of one by one, and you have access to the latest route in development (which is James). I hope that answers everything! You still get to keep the Plus version, but you just won’t be receiving updates:)It’s worth nothing that the Patreon version gives you an entirely separate game from the one you’ve been playing! You’d have to start a new game, however, you start the game with Neil’s and Dimitri’s route fully unlocked. 150 hours, that’s quite a lot!The Plus DLC will be released per character, as it would be unfair to charge you for a price of 6 characters when they aren’t all released. Currently, I’m aiming to release Neil’s and Dimitri’s Plus DLC on Steam. Caine’s Plus will only be available on Patreon, until the next character is released (which is James). Basically, Patreons get an early access perk:pThe dating mechanic will be included in Plus and will not be a separate DLC. I’m hoping to complete it before launching the DLC, so that both Neil and Dimitri can be ‘dated’ when you own the Plus DLC.

Currently, Tailor Tales has over 100 unique backgrounds in the game (excluding day/night versions):DSarah didn’t have much of a part to play in Neil’s route, but she did get a bigger role in Dimitri’s and Caine’s route. Sarah does not have a role in James’ route, as there wasn’t a part to play for her in the story (there’s a massive amount of side characters that DO show up though).Either way, if you want more Sarah, definitely read Caine’s route! Glad to hear you’ve been enjoying the game!The Patreon version allows you to play an early Plus version of the game, which is an entirely separate game from the one you’ve currently been playing. Save file transfers are not possible, so yes you’ll lose your progress/clothes. However, you’ll start the game with Neil and Dimitri’s route completely unlocked so you don’t have to do them again. You’ll also start the game with all clothing pieces in your inventory, so you can go ahead and have fun with all the new design pieces and craft something cool.I suggest waiting until November to pledge, as I always update on the 4th of each month. The November update gives you Dimitri’s 1st side story, as well as James’ 1st chapter (and of course, Caine’s entire route!). Tailor Tales is made with RPG Maker MV.

My programmer had to create a ton of custom scripts to add basic features such as history log, quicksave, hiding of the text box etc. These aren’t inherent options in RPG Maker and had to be created from scratch (with a ton of bug fixing afterwards!).To expand upon this question, I use:- Microsoft Word for writing the script- Adobe Photoshop CS 3 for everything art related- Sublime for coding the script into the game- RPG Maker MV to compile and run the game.
